Represent the bands from your area! List bands near you and if there's a link to their website/music, post it here! I'm from central/upstate New York. Bands from my area: My boyfriend's brother is in a band.. they're pretty good. (Actually, my boyfriend and some of my friends just started their own band.. anyways back to SWS) They're coming out with a full length CD soon. I dont think the links working right now but you can try it. Something Worth Saving First at the Table is quite popular here, too. F@TTThese people were apparently at my school's Battle of the Bands.. but I don't remember them.. They sound pretty good. ChranbandReally good punk and ska band. EndiveI don't really like them, but a lot of people do. It's made up of 2 sisters that go to my highschool. The Scarlet EndingI really enjoyed them at the battle. Awesome energy while performing! EuphobiaSame singer from Endive. Fit into the pop, punk, ska genre. SaaaSome of the band members from, what formerly was Wiremouth, formed All That Is Sacred. I'll try and get the site up sometime.

Haha sure they are.
I love Something Worth Saving, but the singers voice bugs me after awhile.

Malevolent from Sacramento California. They're very good, its just a guy I know from school and 3 of his friends. But anyway, they have a demo for sale on their site and they also have a lot of other merch. "We're about heavy riffs, thunderous double kicker, deep growls and a touch of melodic slander. We're a metal band with a tribal goth sound we call our own. " If you want to check them out visit: malevolentrocks.com

Okay, here I go again. Well my current boyfriend, Corey is in a band, and they're pretty good. I think they're touring from here (NY) to as far as Ohio the first week of August. So I decided I'd post their site. Corey plays drums if you were wondering. halfpastnever.com

Corey was trying to explain to my friends dad what kind of music they play... and it was kind of funny. He first described it as 'that screaming stuff..' (which it isn't all screaming..) and then 'emotionally driven.' I think he was trying not to use the term 'emo.' It was kind of funny, though. They have over 20 songs written, so they don't do any covers or anything.
